Program Notes
Make solar extremely affordable (starter systems: $600), super simple to install, attractive, and portable, and you could crack a huge untapped market for residential solar. Veranda Solar hopes to accomplish that. Will their innovation survive the tangle of electric codes and interconnect requirements, to adorn a rooftop near you?The Pacific Northwest Clean Tech Open is a business plan competition. Twelve semifinalist companies were chosen from a field of 56 entries. Semifinalists will compete for three $50,000 regional prizes. Those three finalists will advance to a national competition and a chance to secure a $250,000 (cash and services) national prize. Along the way, the companies receive support from industry Mentors to help take their ideas to the next level.

I'm very interested in this solar project and I would like to know if Veranda Solar is still working on it. I can't find any website on the web...
Thank you in advance !
